Bridge Gardens was begun in 1988 by Jim Kilpatric and Harry Neyens, who designed and installed the gardens over the ensuing ten years.
In 1997, Bridge Gardens Trust was created as a charitable corporation under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to maintain and preserve the gardens. The Trust's Board of Directors now maintains them. Contributions are tax deductible, and the Trust is eligible for corporate matching funds. |
